Statement of Faith
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." — 2 Timothy 2:15
The Bible
We believe that the King James Bible (AV 1611) is the absolute, sole, authoritative, perfect, and preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people. We reject all modern English versions as corruptions.
God
We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His vicarious death for sinners, and His literal, bodily resurrection and ascension.
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift offered to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by faith alone. We reject salvation by works and Calvinism. Once saved, a believer is eternally secure.
Dispensationalism
We believe the Scriptures must be "rightly divided" (2 Timothy 2:15). We distinguish between the different ages (dispensations) in which God deals with mankind, specifically the difference between the Law and Grace, and Israel and the Church.
The Eternal State
We believe the saved go immediately to Heaven upon death, while the unsaved descend immediately to Hell for eternal punishment.
The Last Days
We believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church, followed by the Great Tribulation, and the literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His Millennial Kingdom on earth.
Separation & Signs
We believe Christians should live godly lives separate from the world. We believe the sign gifts (tongues, healing, etc.) have ceased with the completion of the canon of Scripture.
Creation
We believe in a literal 6-day creation as recorded in Genesis. We reject evolution and theistic evolution.
